Precautions for installing composite pillar insulators are described as follows:
1. Composite pillar insulators are not allowed to be unpacked before being transported to the installation site. During transportation, heavy objects should not be stacked on the pillar insulators to avoid damage to the umbrella cover of the insulators.
2. After arriving at the installation site, we must pay attention to unpacking the composite pillar insulator, so as not to let sharp objects cut the umbrella skirt.
3. As we know, composite pillar insulators are long and short. For longer insulators, do not drag the insulators on the ground; At the same time, when transporting very long insulators manually, two or more people should be used to transport them, so as to avoid the middle part sagging and causing scratches on the surface of the umbrella skirt, which will affect the electrical performance and service life of the insulator.
4. When lifting, the knot should be tied on the metal attachment, and it is forbidden to tie directly on the umbrella cover. The part of the rope touching the umbrella cover should be wrapped with soft cloth for protection.
5. When installing the pressure balancing ring, it must be noted that the smooth surface of the ring shape of the pressure balancing ring faces the composite pillar insulator umbrella skirt.
6. Do not step on or climb composite pillar insulators, and do not step on installed pressure balancing rings or hanging ropes and heavy objects on the pressure balancing rings, so as to avoid loosening the pressure balancing rings or damaging the surface.
7. During the installation process, excessive bending or torsional stress should be avoided on the mandrel as far as possible. At the same time, do not turn the fixed or loaded pillar insulators when hanging the line.
8. Install the voltage equalizing device correctly, pay attention to the installation in place, do not install the reverse, and carefully adjust the torus perpendicular to the composite pillar insulator axis, for the open mouth type voltage equalizing device, pay attention to the two ends of the opening direction of the same.
